THE PROBLEM
Pacific Gas & Electric, California's largest public utility, whose territory blankets most of Northern and Central California, is leading the corporate charge to promote homosexual "marriages" in California and around the nation. In July, PG&E donated $250,000 to the No on Proposition 8 campaign (against Prop. 8 which reads, "Only marriage between a man and a woman is valid or recognized in California."). PG&E, along with Levi Strauss & Co., is the official co-chair of the "No On Prop 8 Equality Business Council."
On July 29, PG&E issued the following statement: "We are proud to join NO on 8 and Equality California to protect the freedom to marry for all Californians," said PG&E Senior Vice President of Public Affairs Nancy McFadden. "For years, PG&E has advocated for equality and fairness in the workplace, and across California. In that same spirit, PG&E is honored to be a founding member of the Equality Business Advisory Council and urge our business colleagues to join us as we work to guarantee the same rights and freedoms for every Californian."
THE SOLUTION
You don't have to partner with the homosexual "marriage" agenda of PG&E. The good news is you can protect your conscience and increase your support for real marriage by removing a significant portion of your natural gas business from PG&E. Since 1997, California law has permitted you to switch to a different supplier of natural gas, but most Californians don't know they have a choice. Changing your natural gas supplier will mean less of your money will go to PG&E. If enough people leave PG&E, California corporations will get the message that they should avoid supporting homosexual "marriages" or risk losing customers. Pro-family organizations Pacific Justice Institute, American Family Association and others are encouraging PG&E ratepayers to switch to Tiger Natural Gas.
PG&E shocks pro-family Californians
"In July, PG&E donated $250,000 to the campaign to defeat the gay marriage ban and announced it hoped to persuade other corporations to do the same. Because PG&E is a public utility, though, taking a controversial political stand is less risky for the company than it might be for businesses with greater competition." -- Associated Press, Sept. 25, 2008
Did you catch that?
- PG&E has attacked man-woman marriage in a major way
- PG&E is using ratepayers' money to fund its homosexual "marriage" agenda
- PG&E has become a homosexual-marriage "activist" by pressuring others to join them
- PG&E mistakenly thinks you don't know you can leave them for a competitor
You don't have to put up with this. You can "fire" PG&E as your natural gas supplier and "hire" independent supplier Tiger Natural Gas instead. It's seamless and easy. And you will likely save money on your gas bill. Join thousands of other Californians and make the switch today.
